Born in Tossa de Mar, Girona. My professional training started with a degree in Translation and Interpreting, in order to improve my communication skills. I then complimented my professional profile with a degree in International Relations, to further my understanding of global economic, political and social fields.
My focus in finance began in 2003, starting with a Masters degree in Banking and Finance at the University Pompeu Fabra. My career then began as a Financial Advisor in Catalunya Caixa, where I became a European Financial Advisor, certified by the European Financial Planning Association (EFPA) and later completing a Masters degree in Personal Financial Planning.
In 2008 I began working for Banco Sabadell group as Director of Financial Advice in the area of Girona. Over five years I continued to develop my knowledge in financial markets, obtaining a License 3 Operator MEFF (Financial Futures and Options) and also pursuing international certifications CEFA-CIIA, certified by EFFAS Financial Analyst and Certified International Investment Analyst from the Institute of Financial Studies in Barcelona. In 2011 my career progressed into BanSabadell Inversión as Institutional Portfolios Manager.
Currently I combine Girona Patrimonis, as an Independent Portfolio Manager, with the position of Executive Director at the EFPA.
